A simple raytracer

I've been wanting to create a simple raytracer for a long time now, with it being a worthy foray into the study of lighting in rendering. Today is the luck day then :).


Conceptually, a ray-tracer works on the fundamental premise of tracing light rays that reach the eyes and thus result in the perceived color of each pixel that we observe on the screen. The subject has a number of useful online resources and so, I won't bother repeating what is already present at these wonderful resources.

What I'll do however, is present you with the first scene rendered by my simplistic implemetation :)...watch out for more over time, as I improve the implementation.
